Pre-school children
Wednesday and Friday adventures for pre-schoolers
This is a great opportunity for the little ones to develop independence and extend their learning through fun child-led play in a natural environment. It is ideal for children attending nurseries part time or those that would like to join a local Forest School playgroup. During our two hour sessions, parents are welcome to attend for as long as they feel it is necessary for their child to settle in and feel safe. |
We use Early Years Foundation Stage framework as a guide for our planning and we use nature and natural resources as our main teaching and learning tools. We follow a holistic approach to children's development and we make sure that every child is given the opportunity to explore and learn about the world around them and about themselves at their own pace. Cost: depending on the length of the term Time: Wednesdays; 10am-12pm or 1pm-3pm |
School children
After-school club (Coldfall Woods, N10) During term time, the after-school adventure club is in the woods. This is an invaluable opportunity for school children to spend time in nature. Two hours spent in the woods allows children to move around freely and release any suppressed energy. It helps them to clear their minds from any stress accumulated throughout the school day. Regrettably, due to the shortage of daylight the club hibernates from November to February. Cost: as per term |
School holiday camps
During school holidays, we run three day Forest School camps for school children, especially popular as they allow children time to live their own adventure, develop relationships and experience the real magic of Forest School. Children are given the opportunity to pursue their own interests, explore the world around them through child-led play and spend invaluable time in the wild, reconnecting with their inner self and the natural world. Cost: £150 for three days or £100 for two days Time: please check the dates and time on our bookings calendar |
